Resin head questions?

Hey guys, I'm new here. I've creeped for a while, actually, but I'm going to be getting a resin head (already cut and hinged) in a few weeks and I have some questions. Well...a lot of questions. Please answer as many as you can ;-;

It's going to be a realistic horse suit of my character, Kwintikal (Kwinn for short). He's a horse / antelope mix.

My first question--how do I add ears / horns to a resin blank? I want the ears to have a bit of springy-ness to them, so I thought of adding in some springs..but..how do I make them stay on the resin? Do I have to drill into it, or is there another way? And the horns are going to be made out of sealed paper clay--can I just add a bit of clay to the resin and glue it on? and would I do that before or after furring?

I found a tutorial on deer ears (http://beetlecat.livejournal.com/31129.html) and was wondering if that'd be useable for horse ears, or if they'd be too floppy?

Eyes. I was going to order eyes with LEDs in them to go with the head..but they were a good seventy dollars and I know I could do it for cheaper. I've read about an adhesive called E6000 to use to glue the two eyes together to make a follow me style eye.

is this the stuff?

and do I put the end the LED in the eye when I first pour the resin, or do I like..drill a hole in the eye after it's done setting? What's the chance of one of them shorting out or something and having to be replaced? Is that possible without destroying it all?

Do you put a balaclava in a resin head, or does the fur itself just make the back of the head?
