II like to make a foam structure base for a little bit more stability, before making the actual foam parts. This is a new one I've made, however I'm having trouble making a decision on where the elastic should be for optimal jaw responsiveness (there isn't any on this base).

The balaclava is made out of stretchy material, so it's already pretty movable already, but I'd like a little extra to it. Red lines for where the elastic should be would be appreciated.
