I had eyelashes in the video and they were just...no, so I took them off and lined the outside of the eyes with black. Do you do this before or after you fur? I've seen people do either or, so I don't know why or what for, but we'll see. I want her to have distinct eye-lashes to some extent. I don't know if they should be too major. Maybe something subtle. I would imagine tauns woudl have eyelashes to keep the blustering snow out of their eyes to some extent. But, the last time a lizard had eye-lashes was in a disney movie and she's not a disney-style character, lol!
Took the dumb ribbed thing off the back of her head. It was making her whole head look...stupid. It looks a lot better now and I'm not as anxious about it as I was. I still want a curved neck or an arched neck, but I'm going to get a neck pillow and create a "boa" of fur that encloses her neck and build off of it. That might make a more favorable look, actually, I think. I'm trying to find my "look" and I don't know if I'll have it figured it out yet.
I have a question, though, for the sake of her being a tauntaun, are her eyes too far forward? They ended up being farther down than I originally intended and it was looking peculiar when the strange head brace was on the back of her head, but when I took it off, they looked all right, I think. I don't know though. THey're pretty solid, now and I'd hate to change them because it took me some tampering to get them where they are, but for the sake of a good finished product, I'd be willing to change them. Not that I will like doing that, but I'm only curious if they could stay that way.
Also, about the horns, can I get away with enclosing them with fleece? THey're so choppy with layered foam, I don't think I'd want to coat them in liquid latex, even though tauntauns have hard horns. I've gone about it so crudely, I think I might have hurt my future for a good final product.
The left eye, your right, is actually uneven with the other eye. Is that something to be concerned about and should I stress that and get that fixed or will it be too noticeable when I fur it? Will it show up worse or better if its enclosed with pure white fur? If something was uneven such as the eyes. Would the colors make it stand out less or more?
