I got another idea I need some help with!
I see a lot of suit makers offering 3/4th suits. I find these pretty neat and handy if you're not willing to go whole hog on a fullsuit.
I'm considering trying this method, as I find making fullsuits and wearing them pretty tiring (the heat is really what kills me).
Essentially, if you aren't making digitigrade bottoms, would you just take a pant pattern from a sewing store like JoAnn's and just replace the cloth with faux fur?
Also, would you need to buy a new outfit concerning your suit? I realize that most fullsuits are larger than the average human body due to fur bulk. I'm not sure if you would need a huge shirt or something to match in proportion of the legs.
